In the Windows section, I list some of freeware programs that I use, and I listed the commercial software that it most likely could replace. This is handy if you are trying to get rid of pirated software. Many of the programs in the list are every bit as good if not better than their commercial competition. In fact, now is a good time to quit paying Microsoft and check out Linux, a free open source operating system.
