The Freeware section is divided into 2 sections. The sections are based on what operating system the software runs on. The two sections are Windows and Linux. All of these programs are freeware for one private individual use. They might not be freeware for commercial use or if you want to use them on multiple computers.
I tried to put only high quality freeware in here because I think you came to my site to find the best freeware, not crap. I have rated each program with stars with zero being the lowest possible score and 5 being the highest possible score. The Windows section lists a programs closest commercial competitor and tries to explain how much it will replace it.
